The ideal candidate will have a strong service technician background and, ideally, be ASE certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional services are needed. Provide time estimates for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
