Current available courses require face-to-face daytime or evening availability at the Dowagiac and/or Niles campuses. We do not offer online courses at this time. Close proximity to the Niles campus is an added advantage for Fall/Spring 2026 and 2027.Required QualificationsMaster’s in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, or Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in related subject areaExcellent organization and communication skills Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree or higher in subject matter or equivalentCommunity College teaching experience Other InformationEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTeach effectively using a variety of instructional methodsBe accessible to studentsGrade assignments and respond to student inquiriesProvide timely feedback to students’ questions and concerns Use Moodle (our LMS platform) regularly for posting assignments, attendance, and gradesProficient with computer technologies, including Microsoft Office and emailFamiliar with rules, regulations, administrative practices, guidelines and policies of the CollegeProvide the department with student performance data that is required for regular outcomes assessmentWork comfortably with a diverse student population that includes dual-enrolled high school students, traditional college students, and nontraditional college studentsThe duties listed in this job description are not all-inclusive, but a list of the major responsibilities.
