# Must come out of the Electrical Contracting Engineering IndustryA leading electrical contracting & engineering company locate in NYC is seeking a "Senior Electrical Estimator" to join their Ozone, Queens location.Must be authorized to work in the United StatesLocation: Ozone Park, Queens.Salary Range: $140k-$175kMust have a stable work historyAll resumes must match the requirements for this position. The Senior Electrical Estimator is responsible for leading the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with project teams, and developing detailed bids for commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects. The Senior Estimator also mentors junior estimators and helps refine estimating processes and standards.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction ManagementKnowledge of BIM and digital takeoff toolsStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyLeadership and team development experience 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably with an electrical contractorStrong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practicesProven experience estimating commercial and/or industrial projectsProficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, or similar)Strong understanding of labor units, productivity rates, and material pricingAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience with design-build and design-assist projectsPlease submit resume and cover letter to: phyllism@bachrachgroup.com For more information, please reach out to phyllism@bachrachgroup.com
