PCB Inspector

Inspector position in Oldsmar, FL. US Citizenship is required for this position Security Clearance IS NOT required 2nd Shift 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday; 4 10-hour days with Friday off (4/10 Work Schedule) + Weekend OT Work will be onsite Job Description Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role requires comprehension of process instructions, drawings, inspection instructions, checklists and use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.) to inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards. Qualifications Minimum 2 years prior experience visually inspecting solder connections of surface mount and plated-through-hole components per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements; must navigate IPC standard and interpret accept/reject criteria. Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Personal Computers. Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when communicating quality defects. Prior IPC-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 experience as detailed in resume. Minimum 2 years prior solder and coating inspection experience. Must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide. Candidates must read/write English. Hours are 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Mon-Thurs with OT on the weekends. This role begins as a contract position. J-18808-Ljbffr
