Structures Mechanic

Location: Ardmore, OK Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour Per Diem Split Available Job description: Essential Responsibilities Shearing/Cutting and fabrication of sheet metal within tight tolerances. Perform layout and transfer hole pattern techniques on manufactured parts by using scribe and punch tools. Frequently complete rivet installations and removals. Perform assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support for components and other aircraft worthy parts. Operation and potential maintenance of shop equipment including shears, brakes, drills, grinders, etc. Proper use of measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc. Understand technical drawings and documentation. Comply with internal policies and procedures, original equipment manufacture (OEM) manuals, along with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. OSHA, FAA, ISO/AS, etc.) Maintain safe and orderly working area conditions. Must have your own tools Must be able to use appropriate technical data and performs disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing and calibration of aircraft components and company special tools and ground equipment Read and interprets manufacturers and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Ardmore, OK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
