The company operates as a fully remote organization with more than 1,600 team members across 40+ countries.Grafana Labs combines an open-source legacy with a global, collaborative culture centered on transparency, autonomy, trust, and meaningful technical work.## About the RoleGrafana Labs is seeking a Senior FullStack Engineer to join the Cloud Integrations team within the Grafana Cloud Observability department.The team develops integrations that allow customers to collect, visualize, and act on telemetry from a wide range of systems and applications. As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will work across the frontend, backend, and monitoring layers to build features that directly influence the Grafana Cloud out-of-the-box experience.This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates in the US and Canada, with an EST time-zone focus.### Key Responsibilities* Build and ship end-to-end features spanning user interfaces, backend services, dashboards, and alerts.* Develop frontend functionality using TypeScript and React.* Build and maintain backend services using Golang.* Develop and maintain monitoring mixins using Jsonnet.* Move between different areas of the technology stack based on project requirements.* Own projects from initial problem definition through production deployment.* Collaborate directly with users to understand requirements and evaluate shipped functionality.* Create design proposals and technical documentation.* Present demos and represent the team's work in cross-functional discussions.* Contribute to open-source projects including Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Alloy.* Participate in the on-call rotation for services owned by the team.* Maintain strong engineering quality, reliability, and operational standards.### Required Qualifications* Experience working across the full software development stack with a product-focused mindset.* Professional experience with both backend and frontend development.* Experience with Go and TypeScript, or comparable programming languages.* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a remote, distributed team.* Experience using AI-assisted development tools and LLM-based coding workflows.* Understanding of when AI-assisted development can improve productivity and when additional engineering oversight is required.* Working knowledge of the observability ecosystem, including Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, and alerting.* Understanding of operating and maintaining production systems.* Strong written communication skills, particularly through technical documentation, issues, and pull requests.* Ability to identify problems, advocate for technical solutions, and communicate effectively across teams.### Preferred Qualifications* Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects, including successful pull requests and community collaboration.* Experience building developer tooling for a large user base.* Experience developing Grafana plugins, applications, or dashboards.* Familiarity with Grafana Alloy or the OpenTelemetry Collector.* Experience working with telemetry pipeline technologies.* Experience writing Jsonnet or another configuration-as-code language.* Previous on-call experience for systems being monitored and instrumented.* Experience working with observability infrastructure and production alerting.### Technology Stack* Frontend: TypeScript, React* Backend: Golang* Monitoring and configuration: Jsonnet* Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana Alloy* AI-assisted development: Coding agents and LLM-based development tools### CompensationThe US OTE (On-Target Earnings) and base compensation range for this role is $154,445–$185,334.
