Mutual Fund Services - Trust Operations Specialist Level 4 or 5

Job Name: Mutual Fund ServicesJob Level: Trust Operations Specialist 4 or 5 with relevant experienceJob Duties Mutual Fund Trading – execute and settle mutual fund trades through multiple fundcompanies; research trade and out of balance discrepancies; move money betweenUB&T and fund companies; work with broker and investment managers ondiscrepancies. Mutual Fund Servicing – set-up mutual fund assets on the core accounting system,perform fund exchanges, post income and capital gains transactions. Mutual Fund Servicing - reconcile positions on a weekly basis for omnibus mutualfunds. Proxy – perform proxy services as needed which includes uploading holders andresearching issues or discrepancies; work with the proxy vendor (Broadridge) andtheir software to process ballots. Shadow Accounting – post transactions to the trust accounting system (FIS GlobalPlus); balance outside statements to the trust accounting system; researchdiscrepancies. Imaging – scan documents into the Joshua Imaging System. Federal Reserve – Act as backup for daily balancing and reconciliation of FederalReserve incoming and outgoing wires.Preferred ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentTrust or brokerage operations experienceKnowledge of trust accounting softwareBasic understanding of bookkeeping skills, Basic experience in Excel.Self-motivation, and attention to details working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate (orally and in writing)Ability to maintain discretion and confidentialityAbility to work within a team environmentHigh level of accuracy and timelinessMaintains knowledge and understanding of internal service standardsAbility to deliver a high level of responsiveness to internal and external clientsAbility to multi-task and organize prioritiesStrong aptitude for problem solvingProfessional behavior and appearance#hc245854
