Food Production Associate

Job Description We are seeking reliable Production Associates to support fruit and vegetable processing operations. This role involves preparing, cutting, packaging, and handling fresh produce in a refrigerated, food-safe production environment. Work is repetitive and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict food safety standards. Pay Rate1st Shift: $14.00/hour Schedule (1st Shift – Monday through Saturday)Cutting Department: 5:30 AM until production endsPackaging Department: 6:30 AM until production ends Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare fruits and vegetables using hand-held cutting toolsOperate equipment such as vegetable dryers, electronic scales, and packaging machinesPackage finished products, ensuring correct weight, code dating, and seal integrityBuild boxes and palletize finished goodsMaintain a clean and organized work area at all timesFollow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Report any illness or contamination risks before starting workImmediately report any contamination or safety concerns to a supervisorFollow all company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions Work EnvironmentRefrigerated food production facilityRepetitive tasks requiring standing for long periodsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs QualificationsNo experience required – on-the-job training providedExperience in food processing is a plusPositive attitude and strong work ethicTeam player with good coordination and manual dexterityDependable and adaptable Why Work with Effex?At Effex, we don't just place you in a job, we help you build a path forward.
