Cloud System Engineer

Job Description Project/Contract Overview:Sienna Systems is looking for a motivated system engineer to join our team in Northern Virginia for a Federalcontract. The team will monitor and sustain a variety of interconnected complex IT cloud and hybrid systems. The scope of work includes support for build out, administration, the operational environment, cloud migration, security, and configuration management.Job Description:The scope of work includes contractor support for the design and development of production systems for theexisting on-prem and cloud environments. This includes support for administration, the operational environment,cloud migration, security, and configuration management. The team is lean and agile, so must be self-motivated.The primary objectives include:Technical Duties and Functional Responsibilities:The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:- Experience managing AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Security Policies)- Scripting experience a plus (e.g., Ansible, AWS-CLI, PowerShell)- Extensive experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server- Perform administration and manage SharePoint and Office 365- Experience with supporting cloud migrations and cloud computing services- Experience working with IIS, SQL Server- Support large internet facing applications- Strong customer support skills- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills- Proven effective teaming and inter-personal skills- Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks at once and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and possess organization skills to balance and prioritize workJob Requirements, Skills, and Certs:- Be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance- Must have 2+ years of experience in AWS- Must have 6+ years of experience in Windows Administration- Must have good communications skillsAdditional Information:- Salary: up to $145,000 based on years of experience and knowledge/expertise- Company benefits:Medical/dental/vision insurance3 weeks PTO11 paid Federal Holidays401(k) plan with matching fundsLong- and short-term Disability coverageCompany sponsored Life Insurance coverageHiring Referral BonusReimbursement for approved technical training/exams
