KeyResponsibilities Responsible for marketing and promoting the CareerCenters to employers and utilizing business information to assist theteam in career coaching. Participate in local strategic planning foremployer demand driven programs, training and services in our region.Contact employers to assess their needs and provide information onvarious services available through the Public Workforce System.caProvide various services to businesses including job order posting, jobreferrals, recruitments, job fairs, referral to partners,apprenticeships, labor market information and other services as needed.Respond to incoming requests from employers in our region. Ensure CareerCenter staff are aware of employers? needs and job order specificationsto facilitate prompt and effective servicing of job orders. Workcollaboratively with team members to facilitate placement of CareerCenter customers into open positions. Conduct and/or coordinate grouppresentations to employers. Plan, organize and conduct job fairs,special events and recruitments to provide large scale labor exchangeopportunities for both employers and job seekers. Perform other relatedduties as assigned from time to time. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Aminimum of a Highschool Diploma or equivalent and three years ofcustomer service or relevant experience is required. An Associate\'s orBachelor\'s degree in human services, public administration, businessmanagement or related field preferred but not required. At least 2 yearsof experience working in a career center, providing services toBusinesses, Or Other Related Experience Preferred But Not Required.Ability to function effectively as part of a business services team.Knowledge and experience with WIOA (and other Career Center Programs)regulations, programs, guidelines and administrative requirements arepreferred. Ability to work sensitively and effectively with individualsof diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds.
