Business development director (EU market, Crop protection)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Director with deep expertise in the crop protection (pesticide) industry, focused on the European Union market.This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a strong background in marketing, product development, and market expansion within agrochemical manufacturing companies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development strategy for crop protection products across the EU marketConduct comprehensive market analysis (manufacturers, distributors, and end-users) to identify growth opportunitiesDrive the development and launch of new products – from concept and market validation to positioning and commercializationDefine and implement go-to-market strategies, including channel development and partner managementDevelop pricing strategies based on market dynamics, competition, and cost structureOversee and support product registration processes in compliance with REACH and EU regulationsBuild and expand distribution and promotion channels across European marketsCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, and Production teamsRequirementsProven experience in business development or marketing within a pesticide / agrochemical manufacturing companyDeep understanding of the EU crop protection market, including key players, segments, and trendsHands-on experience in launching new agrochemical products in international marketsStrong expertise in market segmentation, product positioning, and commercialization strategiesSolid knowledge of REACH and EU regulatory frameworks for chemical productsExperience in pricing strategy and channel developmentExcellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skillsProficiency English, Russian or Ukrainian at least at middle levelWhat We OfferFully remote role with international scopeOpportunity to shape market expansion strategy in the EUInvolvement in end-to-end product development and commercializationDynamic and innovation-driven environment·If you meet the requirements and would like to apply – please send your CV to hr@asasw.ch #J-18808-Ljbffr
