Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. In addition to caring for patients as described above, the Lead Therapist may serve in a mentoring capacity for the therapy staff and oversees day to day operations of the unit or clinic including, staffing, scheduling of patients, regulatory compliance, staff professional development, marketing and physician relations.In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:Bachelors (OT, PT, SLP) RequiredMasters PreferredTwo years of applicable work experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unitPrevious leadership experience, preferredPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferredBLSMedium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlyAt Longmont United Hospital, we treat the entire patient to leverage the powerful connection of body, mind, and spirit in the healing process.
