Senior Business Operations Specialist
Position is contingent upon contract awardThe Senior Business Operations Specialist will lead and optimize business processes across departments. In this strategic role, you will identify operational inefficiencies, develop scalable solutions, and support the execution of company-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in business analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence and support growth.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, process improvements, and best practices across business unitsAnalyze business performance data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvementsCollaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning, goal setting, and execution trackingOversee cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with organizational priorities and timelinesDevelop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor progress and support decision-makingEvaluate current tools, systems, and workflows, and recommend upgrades or automation where appropriateProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and business operations staffEnsure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and operational controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activitiesAct as a liaison between operations, finance, HR, IT, and other key departmentsEducation & ExperienceMaster's degree in related fieldExceptional knowledge or understanding in strategic/operational planning, business process management, business operations, policy coordination, interpretation and dissemination, training, task management, information management, facility and space management, and related activities.Knowledge or understanding with ETMS2 or similar systems.Ability to produce fully actionable requirements Documents packages for competitive contracts.Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.Ability to produce, maintain, and publish a variety of ad hoc and routine reports and publications at the executive level.
