Travel Surgical Technologist - $2,190 per week

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 7 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Perform duties as part of the surgical team to ensure safe and successful operative procedures. Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and report to Surgical Services management. Support system-wide surgical operations initiatives and actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan. Job Responsibilities Ensure the operating room and surgical items meet sterilization criteria. Maintain the sterile field and ensure a safe environment. Recognize and address sharps and fire safety processes. Prepare the operating room and instruments for surgical procedures. Assist with sterile processing as needed. Support surgeons during procedures within the ORT scope of practice. Identify and respond to emergency situations appropriately. Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for subsequent procedures. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program, or graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past six months, or two years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three years. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. Preferred Qualifications Active National Certification as an ORT in Surgery or Certified Surgical Technologist.
