The successful candidate will play a key role in driving productivity, safety, quality, and workforce performance while supporting the continued growth of a well-established operation.The OpportunityThe Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, leading supervisors and production teams, improving operational performance, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing leadership and a demonstrated ability to manage large workforces in fast-paced industrial settings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily operations across the manufacturing facility.Manage and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel.Drive productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are met.Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the plant.Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.Manage labor planning, staffing requirements, and workforce development.Identify process improvements that reduce waste and increase productivity.Support employee engagement, accountability, and team performance.Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and operational excellence.QualificationsPrevious experience as an Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Plant Superintendent, Production Superintendent, or similar leadership role.Proven experience managing large teams within a manufacturing, industrial, construction materials, or heavy production environment.Strong leadership and people-management skills.Experience driving operational improvements and production efficiency.Knowledge of safety programs, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Preferred ExperiencePrecast concrete manufacturing.Prestressed concrete production.Construction materials manufacturing.Structural concrete products.Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Experience leading teams of 50+ employees.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary of $100,000 – $130,000.Comprehensive benefits package.Paid holidays and PTO.Retirement savings program.Long-term career growth opportunities.Stable, established business serving major transportation and infrastructure projects.
