Job Title: Telecommunications BIM DesignerLocation: Portland, ORJob Type: Contract-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Portland, OR. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working on complex telecommunications systems, particularly within data center and mission-critical environments.The BIM Designer will play a key role in design documentation and will be responsible for the setup, coordination, and management of BIM models. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced Revit expertise while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, constructible designs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and maintain BIM models using Revit in coordination with project teams and discipline leadsCreate and coordinate fully integrated 3D models across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecom, and instrumentation)Produce accurate 2D construction drawings from BIM modelsUtilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to support design and coordination effortsCollaborate with engineers, architects, and other designers to ensure clash-free and constructible designsFollow established BIM standards and client-specific modeling requirementsInterpret design markups and translate them into detailed models and drawingsAssist in estimating time and effort required for modeling and design tasksRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of BIM design experienceAt least 3 years of experience in telecommunications systems design within the construction industryWorking knowledge of design codes, standards, and specificationsBasic understanding of wiring/cabling connections and system integrationExperience adhering to client BIM and design standardsFamiliarity with Bluebeam or similar markup toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWillingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environmentPreferred Qualifications3+ years of experience with Revit and/or AutoCADExperience working in data center or mission-critical environmentsKnowledge of paging, intercom, and audio-visual systemsExperience with life safety and security systems (fire alarm, access control, CCTV)Understanding of control systems, network components, and topologyAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS          ~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
