Elementary Mathematics Coordinator (2026-2027)
Primary PurposeProvide leadership, coordination, and support for the district's elementary mathematics program to ensure high-quality, aligned, and research-based instruction that improves student achievement in mathematics. Support campus administrators and teachers through curriculum development, instructional coaching, assessment analysis, intervention planning, and professional learning focused on effective, guaranteed, and viable elementary math instruction.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Master's degree from accredited universityValid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsementsSpecial Knowledge/SkillsStrong knowledge of elementary mathematics curriculum, instruction, and assessmentKnowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and state accountability systems related to mathematicsAbility to analyze student achievement and assessment data to improve instructional effectivenessKnowledge of evidence-based mathematics instructional practices and intervention strategiesAbility to develop and deliver professional learning for adult learnersStrong organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsAbility to support differentiated instruction and mathematical problem-solving practicesExperienceMinimum of 5 years successful teaching experience in elementary mathematicsInstructional coaching or campus/district leadership experience preferredWork Schedule: 221 daysSalary: Pay Grade 4 - Administrative/Professional Hiring ScheduleScreenings may begin 5 school days from date posted.
