Job Title: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient RehabLocation: Portland, Oregon Pay Rate: $2,210/week Contract Length: 16 Weeks Start Date: August 2026Shift & ScheduleShift: Day ShiftHours: 4x10s (07:00 AM – 05:00 PM)Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday (Block Schedule Required)Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend day per week (included in schedule)On-Call: Not requiredGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekJob SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with a strong emphasis on individualized, one-on-one care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluationsProvide treatment for:Dysphagia and swallowing disordersAphasia and communication impairmentsCognitive-linguistic deficitsConduct bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studiesUtilize augmentative and alternative communication devicesEducate patients and families on therapy plans and progressComplete documentation using Epic EMRParticipate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary carePatient CareSetting: Inpatient RehabilitationPatient Ratio: 1:1 care modelFocus on improving patient independence and functional outcomesRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of SLP experience (inpatient/acute care preferred)Active SLP license (Oregon or eligible)BLS certificationExperience with Epic charting systemRequired SkillsDysphagia managementCommunication and cognitive therapyModified Barium Swallow StudiesTrach/Vent and Passy-Muir Valve experiencePatient and family educationAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work Sunday–Wednesday scheduleFloating may be required within nearby facilitiesMust have a personal vehicle for assignmentTravelers must be flexible and adhere to scheduling requirementsAbout Pride:As a minority-owned business that delivers exceptional service to its clients and candidates by capitalizing on diverse recruiting, account management, and staffing backgrounds, Pride Health's expert team provides tailored and swift sourcing solutions to help connect healthcare talent with their dream jobs.
