Must be able to commute to one of the following offices:Location: Perrysburg, Ohio | Full-Time | Environmental Consulting & RemediationLocation: Cleveland, Ohio | Full-Time | Environmental Consulting & RemediationEnviroTrac LLC is seeking a Environmental Technician (Geoprobe/Equipment Operator) with 1-3 years of experience to join our Ohio team. This full-time role involves working in the field on a variety of environmental projects with opportunities for professional growth.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Operating a geoprobe, excavator, loader, and skid steerPerforming air, soil, and groundwater monitoring/samplingOverseeing remediation system installationConducting environmental site assessmentsSupporting spill response activitiesAssisting in UST closuresCompleting field documentation, analysis, and surveyingPerforming system operations and maintenance tasksSkills and Qualifications:Strong mechanical aptitudeExperience operating a geoprobe and/or heavy equipmentStrict adherence to EnviroTrac Health & Safety standards and company policiesKnowledge of OSHA requirements and compliance standardsAbility to supervise subcontractors during complex field activitiesCapable of:Conducting monitoring well elevation surveyingCreating scaled field mapsPerforming remedial system troubleshooting and maintenanceServicing pumps, blowers, and compressorsOverseeing excavation and soil sampling activitiesProcuring necessary equipment and materialsPhysically able to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate varied terrainValid Driver's License requiredPreferred Qualifications/Certifications:OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certificationCurrent OSHA 8-hour RefresherMechanically inclined and technically resourcefulSelf-motivated and able to work independently under tight deadlinesWhy Join EnviroTrac:• Competitive compensation aligned with industry rates for Environmental Technicians in Ohio.• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.• 401(k) plan with generous company match.• Paid time off, holidays, and life insurance.• Career growth opportunities within a multi-state environmental consulting firm.About EnviroTrac LLC:For over 30 years, EnviroTrac LLC has been a trusted, privately owned leader in environmental consulting.
