Middle School Testing Coordinator 2026-2027, SPILLANE MIDDLE SCHOOL

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university, a master's degree preferredValid Texas teaching certificateA minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher is requiredTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Probationary/Term Contract: 187 daysSALARY:$64,206/IA-3Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinate, order materials, provide training, and maintain confidentiality and test security for all assessments within the federal and state assessment program platforms.Ensure data integrity as related to district and state testing and accountability systems.Train and maintain staff certification records regarding procedures and guidelines of the federal and state assessment programs.Work with campus staff to identify students' needs to maintain an appropriate testing program (i.e., accommodations, schedules, etc.).Assist the principal and other building administrators with the interpretation and distribution of all assessment results.Report to the district state assessment coordinator for training and updates.Perform other job-related duties as requested.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:Effective communication skills, written and oral presentation, and strong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated experience in the use of Excel, specifically sorting and filtering spreadsheetsEffective organizational skills and attention to detailWORKING CONDITIONS:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripheralsPosture: Prolonged sitting; frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushingMotion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; frequent movement of test booklets, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.Lifting: Lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds)Environment: Frequent district-wide travelMental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stressDEADLINE TO APPLY:Until filledApplications will be reviewed.Not all applicants will be interviewed.Hiring managers may choose to email you regarding this application.
