In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified construction professionals across all levels of the organization — from field supervisors and project engineers to senior project managers and estimators. You will serve as a key partner to hiring managers, ensuring our teams are staffed with the right people to deliver projects on time and on budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full-cycle recruitment process for construction roles including project managers, superintendents, estimators, field engineers, and skilled tradespeoplePartner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and project timelinesSource candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, trade schools, and employee referralsScreen and interview candidates to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and alignment with company cultureCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and professional processExtend offers, manage pre-employment requirements, and support onboarding coordinationMaintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular updates to hiring managersBuild and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and anticipated hiring needsRepresent Laland Baptiste at industry events, career fairs, and professional associations to strengthen our employer brandQualifications5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, engineering, or a related industryFamiliarity with construction roles, project delivery methods (GC, CM, design-build), and jobsite organizational structuresStrong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels — from field staff to executive leadershipExperience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similarHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneouslyProactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to a positive candidate experienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and company holidaysOpportunity to grow within a dynamic and project-driven organizationA collaborative team environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of our workforcePowered by JazzHRnbPH6kkvK0
