We are looking for a Senior Event & Venue Coordinator who is confident, proactive, and motivated by owning results — someone who enjoys closing premium bookings and executing events at a high standard.

Role Overview
The Senior Event & Venue Coordinator owns the end-to-end booking and execution process for RRB Event Venue. This includes managing incoming leads, closing event bookings, coordinating staff and vendors, and executing weekend events. The role blends sales, coordination, and execution, with performance-based compensation tied to revenue closed.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Management
Manage all incoming event inquiries (email, website, social media, referrals)
Respond promptly and professionally to leads
Qualify inquiries and guide clients toward the right package
Close bookings in the $3K–$7K+ range
Present pricing confidently and consistently
Send contracts, collect deposits, and manage follow-ups
Maintain accurate records in the CRM
Event Planning & Execution
Coordinate all event logistics and timelines
Serve as the main point of contact for clients
Oversee venue setup, flow, and breakdown
Ensure each event aligns with RRB quality and experience standards
Be on-site for events as needed (Friday–Sunday)
Scheduling, Staffing & Vendor Coordination
Manage the venue calendar and avoid scheduling conflicts
Schedule instructors and event staff
Coordinate external vendors (decor, DJs, rentals)
Ensure vendors follow venue guidelines and timelines
Operations & Experience Support
Execute pre-defined event packages and enhancements
Upsell add-ons when appropriate to elevate the experience
Capture feedback and suggest improvements
Support venue-related content (photos/videos during events)
Schedule & Availability
Weekdays: Remote work (leads, sales, coordination, CRM)
Weekends: On-site event execution
Events are held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
Ideal Candidate Profile
2–5+ years experience in event coordination, hospitality, or venue operations
Confident communicator with a calm, professional presence
Sales-minded and comfortable closing premium bookings
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Reliable, accountable, and proactive
Motivated by performance-based compensation
Local to Cerritos / SoCal preferred
CompensationHourly Pay
$22–$26/hour
Paid for weekday coordination, lead management, and administrative work.
Commission
3% commission on base event revenue closed
5–7% commission on add-ons and upgrades sold
Typical monthly earnings: $3,000–$3,600+ based on performance.
