Apply via Dice today!Data Center Technician (Server / Support)Afton, TXLong TermEngineers will provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance and Installation of product located at Customer Site.Triage issues with direction from SupportExecute plan of action from Domain Engineer/L3Document POA Results, logs and service reports (Parts numbers/PPID of old/new parts replaced) via case emailReseating parts, swap or replace partsServer Testing and validation (running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs)Upgrading Firmware as neededParts locker management, manage inbound and outbound partsSpare parts management, separate from parts locker (during CW server deployments)Experience replacing server components (CPU, Mem, PS, GPU etc)Experience in server replacementsYou will be successful in this role if you have:High School Diploma or GED requiredMay require technical certification or Associate DegreeGenerally, 4-6 years experience in area of responsibility
