Our client is a global transformation and BPM company that blends deep process expertise with technology, analytics, and AI, hiring at scale across operations and IT—making them a high-volume but quality-focused staffing client.Job Title: Java DeveloperLocation: NYC, NY (3 days onsite minimum)Duration: 6 monthsJob Type: Temporary AssignmentWork Type: HybridRate: $50/hr. - $53/hr.Job Summary: Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:Work closely with Product Owners, Business analysts and other IT partners located globally on day-to-day basis to ensure smooth delivery of projectsUnderstand, follow, and ensure that system architecture and integration design standards are aligned with broader platform strategies and business goals.Provide stable technical solutions which are robust and scalable as per business needs.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate requirements based on the projectProvide hands-on code development and test coverage based on the project delivery needs.Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremoniesStay up to date with new development best practices/approaches, tools and test coverage strategiesSkills Required:Work experience primarily with building enterprise server-side applications using J2EE TechnologiesExcellent Core Java, Spring and Hibernate programming skillsExcellent Design skills (Design Patterns)Work experience with hands-on experience Java/JEE, Spring, ORM / Hibernate, XML, XPath, XSLT, Web services - RESTful, Webserver (Apache Tomcat preferred)Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsExperience with Junit, JProfiler/Jprobe (any profiling tool)Proficiency in usage of SQL queries for databases (Sybase or DB2 preferred)Expertise in working with XML, XSLT and SOAP, and JSON formatsExcellent communication, organizational, and planning skillsWorking experience of Agile development methodologies and of DevOps integrationExposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality developmentAbility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentExposure or Working Experience using AI tools and modelsSkills Desired:Good understanding / experience in the following technologies would be a plusStrong Foundation and/or working knowledge of UI Technologies (Angular, JS, React)Proficient in Test Driven DevelopmentKnowledge of Financial Market, Banking products and Wealth ManagementKnowledge of Unix or Linux developmentEducational Qualification:Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldTekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
