This role supports the overall efficiency of kitchen operations and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods.Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen floors, garbage areas, and equipment storage.Dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste appropriately throughout shifts.Restock clean items in designated kitchen areas.Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning as directed.Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.Notify supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.Working Conditions & Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and stoop, with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to work in hot, humid, and wet environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals.Must be able to safely operate dishwashing equipment and handle sharp or heavy kitchen tools.Reasonable Accommodation StatementMaple Hospitality Group will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
