Financial Reporting ManagerEleven Recruiting is hiring a Financial Reporting Manager to sit onsite in Westlake Village, CA, five days a week in support of one of our largest mortgage loan clients. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-level reporting responsibilities for a leading organization in the financial services industry.Position Overview The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading financial reporting projects, including filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), audited financial statements, regulatory agency submissions, debt compliance reporting, and internal reporting as assigned. This role will oversee the preparation and review of periodic financial reports, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other required filings, along with detailed supporting work papers.Responsibilities:Prepare and review XBRL tagging in support of SEC filings.Prepare and supervise the preparation of debt compliance reporting, including interpretation of debt agreements and creation of necessary reporting.Research and prepare stock-based compensation expense and earnings per share (EPS) calculations.Supervise and coordinate the preparation of data and supporting information requests for external audits and reviews.Participate in the earnings release process, including preparation of the quarterly management reporting package, analysis and support for investor relations, and review of financial information included in earnings releases and scripts.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Demonstrate behaviors that align with the organization's values and culture.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of relevant experience, including experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm.CPA certification strongly preferred (or in active process of completion).SEC and technical reporting experience (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) preferred.Strong understanding and application of GAAP and SEC/financial reporting requirements, including financial statements and related notes.Awareness of control responsibilities and requirements relating to financial reporting, including compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.Ability to produce financial statements and MD&A support for periodic SEC reporting.
