Senior Project Manger

A national Architecture and Planning firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead complex multifamily residential projects from concept through construction. This individual will play a key leadership role within the Tampa office, managing client relationships, guiding internal teams, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate brings deep multifamily expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLeads and oversees multifamily architectural projects across all phases, from schematic design through construction administrationServes as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfactionProvides strategic direction and leadership to project teams, including architects, designers, and consultantsManages project scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client goals and firm standardsReviews and approves design deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to design intentEnsures compliance with Florida building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirementsCoordinates effectively with contractors, engineers, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleIdentifies and mitigates project risks, proactively resolving issues as they ariseContributes to business development efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and pursuit strategiesMentors and develops junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environmentQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture12+ years of architectural experience, with a significant focus on multifamily residential projectsLicensed Architect requiredDemonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects from design through constructionStrong expertise in Florida building codes, construction methods, and permitting processesAdvanced proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools preferredExceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environmentWhat the Firm OffersCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Clear path to senior leadership opportunitiesCollaborative, design-focused culture with a strong emphasis on innovationOpportunity to lead impactful multifamily developments throughout Tampa and the Southeast
