IT Business Analyst
HybridMust Reside in Georgia Description:Diversified Systems is searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst who will serve as the strategic liaison between business units and IT departments to translate complex business needs into actionable, high-quality technical solutions. Under general supervision, you will lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements for high-impact or enterprise-level systems. You will not only participate in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems but will also act as a trusted advisor and mentor, driving operational efficiency and ensuring the user community fully leverages functional business tools and support systems. Responsibilities: Requirement Elicitation & Analysis: Lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups with cross-functional stakeholders to extract, analyze, and prioritize complex business requirements. Documentation & Design: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and data models. Participate heavily in system design sessions to ensure technical solutions align with business goals. Project Planning & Implementation: Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Coordinate and participate in the deployment, data migration, and rollout of new or enhanced applications. Testing & Quality Assurance: Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, write comprehensive test scenarios, and coordinate with business users to ensure deliverables meet validation criteria and quality standards. User Support & Enablement: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for core functional business tools. Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and provide advanced Tier-2/Tier-3 support to resolve complex functional system issues. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing business processes and system workflows to identify bottlenecks, proposing innovative, automated, or optimized solutions. Requirements: 5 years of experience leading requirements elicitation workshops, developing user stories, use cases, and business requirements documentation required. 5 years of experience working with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall required. 5 years of experience performing data analysis including SQL queries, data mapping, and system integration analysis required. 5 years of experience managing stakeholders, facilitating meetings, negotiating requirements, and collaborating across cross-functional teams required. 5 years of experience developing training materials, conducting end-user training, and providing Tier-2 and Tier-3 application support required. 5 years of experience utilizing UI/UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, along with user interface design and user journey mapping required. 5 years of experience using AI and productivity tools including AI-assisted documentation, prompt engineering, and automated note-taking tools required. 5 years of experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing test scripts, and tracking defects highly desired. 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project environments required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field required. Professional certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA highly desired. Experience leading Agile scrum teams or acting as a proxy Product Owner highly desired. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills required. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs highly desired.
