The company is experiencing rapid growth and focuses on enabling brands to operationalize data for automated decision-making.About the Opportunity:The SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DATA SYSTEMS (PYTHON) role is critical for building and maintaining data pipelines and integration systems that support the organization’s marketing intelligence platform. This position directly contributes to processing complex, multi-source data to deliver reliable, actionable insights. The role involves developing APIs, ensuring data freshness, and improving data workflows, thus supporting scalable and efficient data operations that impact customer experiences.Responsibilities:Build and maintain reliable data pipelines ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.Develop and support secure, tenant-aware APIs for data integrations.Work within event-driven and batch processing architectures to maintain data consistency.Contribute to API design and integration patterns supporting various authentication mechanisms.Implement monitoring and alerting systems for data freshness and performance issues.Enhance existing data flows, balancing cost, efficiency, and delivery speed in cloud-native environments.Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to extend and onboard new data sources.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in data, software, or integration engineering with ETL, APIs, or data pipeline exposure.Proficiency in Python.Experience building against REST APIs; familiarity with GraphQL or webhooks is advantageous.Competency with SQL and exposure to cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.Exposure to orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.Willingness to work in containerized environments (Docker).Proven record of steady delivery and effective problem-solving.Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base salary range of $140,000—$155,000 USD.Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and location.Equity package included.Benefits & Perks:Comprehensive healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Flexible paid time off policy.12 company-paid holidays.12 weeks of paid parental leave.$500 work-from-home stipend.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
