Temporary Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual Required) Jackson EI/ECSE Douglas ESD Douglas ESD is seeking qualified applicants to fill the Temporary position of Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual Required) for our Jackson Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education program. This position is located in Medford and works 16 hours per week for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, to begin immediately. Or as a daily wage of $290.73 - $451.83 per dayJOB SUMMARY: Provide comprehensive assessment, therapy, and consultation services in the area of communication disorders. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEMUST PROFICIENTLY READ, SPEAK, AND WRITE IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. Requires a valid SLP license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology prior to the first day of employment, or a Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) license that has an endorsement for either communication disorders or speech-impairment. Analyzes the effectiveness, appropriateness, and usefulness of strategies and practices used with students, parents, and staff.Participates as a member of a team (IEP/IFSP, Placement, etc.) and assumes appropriate roles; leads, follows, and supports others in a productive manner. Assesses students levels of functioning and their therapy needs.Participates in development of IEP/IFSP for each eligible student.Designs, implements, and supervises delivery of instructional programs to meet IEP/IFSP goals.Collects, records, evaluates therapy data.Effectively manages student behavior.Works cooperatively and communicates appropriately with parents, local district personnel, and ESD personnel.Manages daily work schedule utilizing effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.Order and maintain appropriate therapy materials and equipment.Evaluates and reports student performance and progress.Attends ESD staff meetings and in-services and serve on committees as directed.Completes required reports and other forms promptly and in an acceptable manner.Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from school locations in the Douglas ESD service area and may be required to travel on overnight assignments.Other duties as assigned.
