We’re partnering with a school in Lake County, Illinois to hire dedicated School Social Worker.The School Social Worker supports elementary students by addressing social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs, partnering with families and school staff to remove barriers to learning and promote student success within the school community.Position Details:Start Date: 8/19/26End Date: 5/26/27Schedule: M–F school hoursGrade Levels: ElementaryLocation: In PersonSchool Year: 2026/2027Responsibilities:Provide individual and group counseling services to students to support social, emotional, and behavioral development.Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments and contribute to IEP and 504 plan development.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement intervention strategies and positive behavior supports.Support crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and attendance improvement initiatives.Consult with families to connect them with school and community-based resources.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state, federal, and district regulations.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive school climate.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred.Strong knowledge of child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral interventions.Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.What We Offer:Competitive pay and benefits package.Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options.Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly.Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement.Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Why Apply?
