The Funding Operations Specialist ensures appropriate and accurate establishment, accounting, and reconciliation of client accounts for specific company products. The Funding Operations Specialist reports to the Finance Operations Team Leader.What You'll DoProvide exceptional client-centered customer service.Review the daily ACH report to determine what funding needs to be posted.Work with team members to determine appropriate set up, funding, structuring, and reporting of client accounts.Maintain client accounts to ensure that all information is current and accurate.Process and post payroll deductions and client deposits.Actively work with the client to confirm where funds received should be allocated if necessary.Have a basic understanding of the plans we administer to help fast track posting of funds.Understand the reasons why we would receive funding (FSA funds, invoices, negative balances).Perform client account reconciliations.Perform data entry within multiple applications.Actively participate and contribute to the company Initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes our company's core values.RequirementsWho You AreHigh School Diploma required, post‐secondary education is preferred.1+ year of experience in a customer‐service environment with a focus on client account balances.Ability to enter data ensuring accuracy and data integrity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to gain proficiency with other software and databases.Excellent attention to detail and strong organization and prioritizing skills.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.Work EnvironmentFloresHR's standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional hybrid office environment based out of our Charlotte office (off West Morehead) (3 days in office). This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel.
