Work at Pacifica includes:A collegial environment among colleagues who value respect, care and honesty.Assistance with and encouragement for professional growth and skills development.A culture that values work-life balance.Interesting and challenging work.Support and incentives for pro bono work and civic engagement.A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our firm, in the legal profession and in our community at large.Position OverviewThe Public Finance Clerk is an entry-level position assisting bond paralegals and other team members with the operations of the public law and finance practice group, which may include:Collecting, organizing, and scanning documentsPreparing, proofreading, and filing documents and correspondenceFollow up and finalization of bond issue documentsTranscript productionTracking calendars and deadlinesFiling required state and federal formsResearching prior client filingsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Strong communication skills, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.ScheduleFull-time (7.25-hour workday), Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for start and end times during regular office hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
