Embedded Firmware Engineer / Embedded Firmware – Microcontrollers / Embedded Software Engineer

*Work Schedule* * Hybrid: typically *Monday & Friday remote; Tuesday–Thursday onsite* *Position Overview* Seeking an *Embedded Firmware Engineer* to develop, implement, test, and troubleshoot embedded firmware for power electronics and battery management system products. The role will focus on *C/C++ programming, microcontrollers, RTOS, testing, and model-based development*. *Required Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in *Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field*. * *4+ years of embedded firmware/software development experience*. * Strong *C and C++ programming* experience. * Experience with *microcontrollers and/or DSPs*. * Experience with *RTOS*, preferably *FreeRTOS or Zephyr*. * Experience with *STM32* and/or *TI C2000* is highly preferred. * Experience with firmware testing and debugging. * Familiarity with oscilloscopes and signal analyzers. * Ability to understand high-level schematics. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement embedded firmware using *C and C++*. * Program and develop applications for *microcontrollers and digital signal processors*. * Perform firmware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. * Support testing using oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, simulators, and hardware-in-the-loop setups. * Work with *STM32 microcontrollers and TI C2000 DSPs*. * Apply model-based design, simulation, modeling, and code-generation techniques. * Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams. * Read and understand high-level electrical schematics. * Support design, development, testing, validation, and documentation. * Prepare technical specifications, design documents, test plans, and reports.
