Restaurant Host - Hostess

We are searching for a host/hostess with outstanding customer service skills—someone who is a real people person. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with others in a fast-paced team environment. You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment. You will also need to multitask efficiently.This position is 5 evenings a week from 3:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Our hotel has a Hospitality Reception that we offer our guests; this is unique to our property, and it is a Guest Favorite. This position has some cooking involved, so you should be familiar with a kitchen and cooking. You should also enjoy being a Hostess with the Mostess. You will set up the tables with the food and beverages. The actual time the guests have to relax and enjoy is from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. We are looking for someone to join our Team/Family who enjoys people; this is a people-person job.Responsibilities:Acknowledge all customers warmly immediately upon arrival to ensure their first impression of the restaurant is positiveClean up and clear plates after guests leave, and get the table ready for the next customersMonitor the dining room for tidiness, ensure all tables and chairs are organized, and that condiments are restocked when neededBe available to our Guests as they may have questions.Keep the food/drinks replenished.Qualifications:Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of timeMust have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely mannerFor this position, a high school diploma or the equivalent GED is needed, as well as a good understanding of how to speak and read EnglishPrior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not requiredAbout Company:When you join our team, you will receive benefits that are the BEST IN OUR BUSINESS.
