Project Manager

Perfect Polish is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Retail Business Unit, as well as the Commercial/Industrial Unit within Perfect Polish for the customers of our polished concrete services. Position requires travel. Salary $70k+ depending on experience plus bonus potential. Ensure the company vision of Safety – Quality – Schedule are at the forefront of our daily activities2. Monitor projects assigned according to contract documents, schedule, quality, and budget objectives3. Travel as required (estimated at 50% of time, 2-3 days per week as needed) to project sites for preconstruction/pre-pour meetings, mock-ups, consultant reviews, milestone events, general assessments, closeouts, etc.4. Maintain emphasis on safe work practices by all members of the team as well as subcontractors5. Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer concerns in a professional, timely, and courteous manner6. Provide timely reporting of all project-relevant data (schedule, deviations, customer interactions, etc.)7. Participate in regular project progress meetings (by phone or in person) and regular site visits8. Prepare Condition Reports for project updates and change orders, as well as repair tickets9. Routinely update cloud-based Production Run with project status10. Enter Cost and Budget Revenues in Procore11. Enter Change Orders in Procore12. Complete project status in Acumatica once a job has completed scope to 100%13. Adjust cost overages to budget in Acumatica14. Monitor project costing dashboards and assist with reporting budget-to-actual weekly updates15. Promote teamwork through effective communication and maintaining a positive attitude towards tasks16. Complete training requirements as mandated by the program17. Housekeeping & other duties as assignedEssential Skills and Abilities· Professional, customer-focused, organized, dependable, performs duties with integrity· Strong leadership and communication skills· Attention to detail and attentive to deadlines· Ability to quickly adapt to changing schedules and variables while effectively allocating resources· Superior follow-up skills· Willingness to travel, sometimes on limited notice, occasional weekends included· Ability to interpret construction drawings & blueprint reading ability· Strong MicroSoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Project experience is a plus)· Ability to use cloud-based take off software (Pro-Est preferred)· Procore ability is preferred· Ability to effectively read and write instructions provided in English· Ability to travel by car or air as neededEducationHigh School diploma or GED is requiredBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field preferredWork Experience1-5 years' experience with a construction contractor or related business preferredTechnical experience (5+ years) in the flooring industry helpfulOSHA 10 Hour Certification; OSHA 30 Hour certification is preferredCurrent CPR/First Aid Certification is preferredSuccessful completion of OSHA 30 Hour and CPR/First Aid will be required once hiredPhysical DemandsContinuous standing, grasping and carryingFrequent walking, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting and lifting for extended periods of timeAccessing data in various forms including cloud-based software, network systems and personal computersMust comply with jobsite personal protective equipment requirements
