Job title: Snowflake ArchitectContract: 6 monthsRemote: est or cst time zoneBGSF has partnered with a client in Tennessee who is seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and migration of enterprise-level data architecture, particularly with Snowflake.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and delivery of data management and data warehouse solutions.Architect and implement Snowflake environments, including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowpark, compute, and storage.Migrate data and workloads from legacy systems to Snowflake with a focus on performance and reliability.Ensure data security, governance, and compliance by implementing Snowflake roles, privileges, encryption, masking, and auditing.Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Snowflake implementations.Design scalable architectures in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure effective data transformation using DBT.Develop strategies for overall architecture and solution delivery in line with Agile methodologies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.10+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Warehousing, and enterprise architecture.5+ years of experience with Snowflake architecture and development.Expertise in SQL, distributed architectures, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong experience in Python, schema modeling, and performance tuning.Nice to Have:Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).Knowledge of data lineage tools (Collibra, Atlan, Atlas).Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, Advanced Architect).
