Join a busy hospital medical imaging team and work with Siemens Somatom Perspective CT equipment.Job Details – Travel Radiology Jobs in Oswego, NYWeekly Estimated Pay: $2,330 - $2,500 Setting: Hospital Medical Imaging / Radiology Department (Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner) Position: CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist Start Date: April 27, 2026 End Date: June 21, 2026 Contract Duration: 8 weeks (travel assignment) Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Tue–Fri (12:00 pm - 10:00 pm) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Type: Travel, On-site Number of Positions: 1 Call: No call requiredQualifications – CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist RequirementsMinimum 1 year of clinical experience performing CT and diagnostic X-ray exams Associates degree or higher preferred (Radiologic Technology or related field) Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography (required) New York State license or permit to inject contrast preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire if not already held Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (X-ray) Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong communication, patient-service and teamwork skills Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to perform under pressure in a hospital imaging environmentResponsibilities – CT / X-Ray / Medical ImagingPerform CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in a hospital setting following radiologic protocols Operate Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner and related imaging equipment Prepare patients for exams, obtain relevant clinical history, and ensure patient safety and comfort Administer contrast material per New York State scope of practice and facility policy (if licensed) Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in the EMR Follow radiation safety standards, infection control, and departmental policies for cleanliness and safety Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Deliver friendly, professional patient interactions and high-quality customer service Adapt to changing workflows and collaborate with the imaging team to ensure efficient patient throughputEnjoy living and working in Oswego, NY — a waterfront community on Lake Ontario with parks, local dining, and easy access to regional attractions.
