If you’re passionate about connecting brand, purpose, and community impact at scale, this is an opportunity to make a visible and lasting difference.What You’ll DoAs an Enterprise Communications Strategist, you will lead and execute strategic communications initiatives that strengthen market presence and support community engagement efforts across identified priority markets. You’ll partner closely with market business leaders, financial advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to elevate brand visibility, support business growth objectives, and amplify the firm’s impact across financial education and early wealth-building.In this role, you will operate as an individual contributor in a highly matrixed environment, collaborating across teams to align communications strategies with business objectives. You’ll translate market priorities into impactful narratives, ensuring the firm’s presence is felt where it matters most—within communities, media, and key stakeholder groups.Here Are a Few Of The Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement communications strategies for identified priority markets to enhance brand visibility and engagement, while serving as communications advisor and key point of contact for all market-based communications.Drive proactive media relations efforts to support storytelling in local marketsDesign and execute communications strategies for community relations initiatives, including financial education and early wealth building programs Partner across External Communications and Public Relations (Media Relations, Reputation Management, Executive Visibility) and External Affairs teams (Community Relations, Philanthropy, EA Market Management) to align messaging Manage communications for enterprise campaigns that include community engagement components Oversee project timelines, budgets, and execution for local and national initiativesLead and manage outside agency support team.Travel up to 25% to support market engagement and on-the-ground executionWhat Experience You'll Need7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or community affairs Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or relevant certifications preferredExperience developing and executing communications strategies aligned to business objectives with exceptional writing and editing skillsMedia relations experience, including building and managing media contacts Experience working in complex, highly matrixed organizations Project management experience, including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverablesProficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), supporting high-quality content development, data analysis, and cross-team collaborationExperience using media monitoring or distribution tools (e.g., Cision)Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.At Edward Jones, we are building a place where everyone feels like they belong.
