Account Director

We are currently seeking an Account Director who will play a pivotal leadership role in client engagement, business development, and the overall success of the firm. The role emphasizes proactive client service, leadership in project management, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture within the firm.
As the Account Director, you will:
Oversee day-to-day account management, ensuring team organization, accountability, and timely delivery of work.
Support Assistant Account Executives (AAEs) and provide strategic and tactical support to senior staff.
Conduct research, monitor traditional and social media, and provide relevant insights to account teams and clients.
Manage client relationships, serve as a key point of contact, and anticipate and respond to client needs.
Develop, edit, and deliver client strategies and key deliverables aligned with client objectives.
Participate in client discussions and presentations and help manage accounts within budget frameworks.
Support and execute media and stakeholder relations, including strategy development and media engagement.
Contribute to business development through research and proposal support.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality work delivered on time.
Utilize firm tools and technologies effectively to support client work.
Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and respond to time-sensitive client needs.
Participate in internal firm activities and contribute to overall operations.
Develop understanding of firm capabilities and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of colleagues.
If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
5+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, public relations, or communications.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience leading and mentoring teams.
Experience working with a research team to translate key findings into actionable communications strategies.
Experience supporting internal or change management communications.
Strong project management skills.
Demonstrated presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
