They are seeking a highly skilled Python-focused DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize systems that support their trading strategies.Responsibilities:• Design, build, and maintain Python-based automation tools to support trading and infrastructure systems.• Optimize Linux-based, on-prem environments for maximum performance and reliability.• Lead performance and latency testing for mission-critical trading applications.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technical improvements.• Serve as a mentor and technical leader, guiding junior engineers toward best practices.Qualifications:Required:• 5+ years of Linux use and administration experience.• Expert-level Python programming skills with a track record of building automation tools.• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.Preferred:• Experience with accelerated network adapters.• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.• Strong background in performance testing and tuning.• Experience with latency-sensitive applications on Linux.• Regression testing experience.• Full-stack tool development experience (JavaScript + Python).Company:Geneva Trading is a proprietary trading firm that offers technology innovation, risk management, and market enhancement services.
