Title: Disaster Recovery Documentation SpecialistLocation: Arlington, Texas (Day1 Onsite)Type: Contract to hireDocumentation Review & Audit: Conduct a thorough review of existing disaster recovery documentation, including DR plans, runbooks, and policies. Identify outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent information within the DR documentation.Documentation Clean-up: Update and standardize DR documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all materials. Remove redundant or obsolete information and ensure that all documents are aligned with current business requirements and technologies.Process Optimization: Work with IT, operations, and business continuity teams to validate the accuracy and relevance of DR processes and procedures. Recommend and implement improvements to the DR documentation process to enhance usability and accessibility.Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that all DR documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. Stay up to date with best practices in disaster recovery planning and documentation.Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, security, and business continuity teams, to gather input and feedback on DR documentation. Communicate updates and changes in DR documentation to relevant teams and ensure understanding and adherence to new procedures.Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to teams on how to use and maintain DR documentation. Assist in the development of training materials related to disaster recovery processes.Version Control & Documentation Management: Implement version control procedures to track changes and updates to DR documentation. Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all disaster recovery documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
