Job Title: Engineer IWork Site: Des Plaines, Illinois 60018 Onsite Duration: 12 Months Contract with Possible extensionShift/Schedule: 8:00am 5:00 PM/Monday-FridayJob DescriptionSupport the evaluation, refurbishment, testing, and qualification of spare parts for reuse in field operations within the Molecular Diagnostics division. This role involves hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and collaboration to ensure refurbished components meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, refurbish, and qualify spare parts for field use. Perform troubleshooting, testing, and verification activities. Follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute refurbishment processes. Support continuous improvement of repair methods and workflows. Preferred QualificationsBachelor s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience. Experience in troubleshooting, testing, repair, or refurbishment activities. Knowledge of GMP and quality compliance requirements. Experience working in laboratory environments under GLP is preferred. Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and teamwork skills.
