In the meantime, hybrid employees will continue working from our current location at RIDC – O’Hara until the transition is complete.We’re excited about this next chapter and look forward to welcoming new team members to our growing organization!The AI Developer is a hands-on role responsible for implementing and operating AI-enabled solutions that support Armada’s business goals. This role focuses on turning ideas into working systems using Microsoft’s AI and automation tools, integrating AI into real workflows, and keeping solutions reliable and maintainable over time. You will spend more time configuring, automating, and connecting systems than writing custom code. The goal is to move fast without creating fragile or disposable solutions.RESPONSIBILITIESBuild AI-enabled workflows and toolsImplement AI agents using Copilot StudioAutomate processes with Power AutomateIntegrate AI outputs into operational workflows and decision processesWork within Microsoft FabricCreate and maintain Fabric assets that support AI use casesUse notebooks for data preparation, experimentation, and light ML tasksConsume and operationalize models developed by internal teams or partnersSupport day-to-day AI operationsManage configurations, environments, and integrationsHandle light MLOps responsibilities such as monitoring and coordinationTroubleshoot issues and improve reliability over timeImplement solutions with long-term sanity in mindReuse existing patterns and components where reasonableAvoid brittle, hard-coded implementations unless speed or constraints demand itRaise concerns early when solutions are likely to create maintenance problemsSupport vendor tools when adoptedConfigure and manage off-the-shelf AI platforms as neededIntegrate them cleanly into Armada’s workflows and data landscapeHelp assess whether tools are delivering value or just adding complexityMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field and/or proven knowledge & skill in AI, ML, and analytics.Minimum five years of experience, with at least 1 in AI solution development and delivery.Recent experience working with Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and determine the most cost-effective solutions.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, to communicate clearly orally and in writing, and to influence when incumbent has no formal authority.Ability to communicate effectively to senior level professionalsDesired Qualifications: Experience implementing end-to-end AI-enabled or data-driven solutions in a cloud environment, accounting for considerations such as:Cost efficiency and performanceMonitoring and troubleshootingSecurity and access controlsData storage and access patternsOrchestration and automationHands-on experience with automation and AI tooling, including:Power AutomateCopilot StudioAPI-based integrationsExperience working within modern analytics or data platforms, such as:Microsoft Fabric (preferred)Cloud-based data warehouses or lakehouse architecturesPractical familiarity with analytics and development tools, including:SQLPython (for scripting, notebooks, or light ML tasks) Other analytics or automation tools as neededWorking understanding of AI and ML concepts, sufficient to:Implement and operationalize existing modelsMonitor and evaluate AI outputsSupport light MLOps activities without building models from scratchPhysical demands and work environmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
