The organization is undergoing a major data transformation initiative to unify insights across clinical, financial, and operational domains — turning data into a strategic asset that enhances enterprise value.Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our portfolio operations team in a remote capacity for at least a 3-month+ consulting engagement. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of professional experience managing complex technology initiatives in healthcare environments, with proven ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders. This role will involve managing data analytics and workflow automation projects across multiple healthcare provider platforms, with an immediate focus on a multi-practice orthopedic organization implementing a Physician Journey Program with defined revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans for technology initiatives across up to four portfolio companies at various stages of the investment lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and investment goals. Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Lead requirements gathering sessions across 8 workstreams for a multi-practice orthopedic provider group (5 practices), capturing business needs and translating them into technical specifications. Create foundational data governance documents that will guide long-term analytics strategy. Dashboard & Analytics Development : Define leading and lagging metrics across each workstream and collaborate with technical teams to build individual dashboards for each workstream, working closely with outsourced analytics vendors and dashboard visualization teams. Stakeholder Communication & Leadership : Act as liaison between technical teams (including external vendors), business stakeholders, and senior leadership. Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations to the senior leadership team. Schedule meetings, hold stakeholders accountable, and ensure clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Project Tracking & Delivery : Oversee quarterly, monthly, and bi-weekly deliverables, managing timelines, tasks, due dates, and resources. Track project progress across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring timely completion and quality standards. Manage technical roadmaps, resourcing forecasts, and action/operating plans to support project execution. Technology Coordination : Coordinate with technology vendors and internal teams on current and future technology initiatives, including dashboard visualization development, outsourced analytics partnerships, and cloud migration projects (Azure/Databricks). Manage integration with EMR systems (ModMed) and data pipeline processes. Risk Management & Problem Solving : Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and best practices across portfolio companies.
