The ideal candidate for this position should be board-certified or eligible in Oncology, with a preferred fellowship in the field. Active licensure in Washington is mandatory, and the facility is open to considering providers with licenses obtained through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). As the dedicated Oncologist, you will be responsible for overseeing an outpatient setting, managing an estimated patient load of 15 per shift. The practice is well-supported by one RN, one MA, and one office staff, alleviating the need for provider supervision of advanced practice providers. Notably, the facility is not designated as a trauma or pediatric level center, and hospital privileges are a requirement. The locum tenens assignment does not include a call type.
