Mechanical Process Engineer

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has 5+ years experience in Process Engineering. This person must have Mechanical Process Engineering as well as packaging experience. They must have Food/beverae and or chemical engineering experience. We are looking for someone who has blended/mixed chemicals or consumable liquids. Food and beverage or chemical engineering experience is a MUST no exceptions. The hiring manager is strict as to what he is looking for in this position. Qualifications B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5-10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in a consultant and hands-on project execution environment. Must possess an eagerness to research new equipment, processes, and technologies. Needs to be energetic, positive, self-motivated, and capable of working with little supervision. Supervise fabrication & installation activities. Support production start-ups to ensure that they meet safe operational and functional requirements for the project. Food/Beverage/Chemical industry experience requested. Proficiency with 3D Modeling; SolidWorks, Inventor, etc. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and MS Project software. Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus. Superior communication and people skills and a strong sense of professional ethics. Essential Functions Fieldwork is required. Must be able to climb ladders, walk over crossovers, and access equipment. Must be capable of walking the distance from the parking lot to the designated job area - in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant. Must be able to pass the drug test, MVR, and background check.
