Position Summary:
The role of Material Handler is responsible for the following duties:
Loading and unloading trucks
Operating forklifts and power scrubbers
Throwing bags
Recording product codes, lot numbers
General housekeeping
Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of inventory control management and customer service face-to-face interaction
Ability to climb stairs, perform lifting, work in confined spaces, work at heights, bend and kneel as well as sit and stand for long periods
Must be highly organized and able to maintain a high standard of warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Have excellent math skills
Proficient in using computers for accurate data entry and data collection.
Able to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
