Speech Language Pathologist
Company DescriptionMost speech therapy systems are built for one type of family. If your family's culture, background, or way of communicating at home has ever been overlooked or worked around — you already know how that feels. I'm Mary, a speech-language pathologist with 5 years of experience working with children and families across education and home care settings. I founded Unveil Discover Speech Therapy because I kept seeing the same gap: families who needed real support, in systems that weren't built with them in mind. If you're a therapist who will like to meet your client in the context of their family's culture — I'd love to connect.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time, on-site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The therapist will also monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with other professionals to deliver high-quality care to children and families.QualificationsExpertise in Speech Therapy and the evaluation and treatment of Communication DisordersExperience addressing Speech and Language DisordersKnowledge and skills in managing DysphagiaAbility to adapt therapy approaches to diverse cultural and familial backgroundsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyActive state licensure for speech-language pathology practice in New YorkStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with pediatric therapy in educational or home care settings is a plus
