STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS: All employees of North Star Mohican Casino must meet the following qualifications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License. Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB). Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and health screening. Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities. Must have a positive attitude and provide a teamwork structure within the department. Must be willing to enhance self-development and be willing to adapt to change. Must be willing to attend all applicable training provided by North Star Mohican Casino Resort. Must have demonstrated the ability to maintain a satisfactory working record in any prior and/or current employment. Must be eligible for coverage under the employer’s liability insurance. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma or GED is required. DUTIES: Ensures that the highest standards of customer service are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by North Star Mohican Casino Resort. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record. Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work. Must dress professionally. Validate and record serial numbers for all inventory used per bingo session. Provide management with a weekly report on all inventory needs and financial information. Work closely with all bingo session employees, in all aspects of daily inventory needs. Must perform pull tab machine functions which include weekly count, fill, and drop. Complete monthly pull tab count and paper inventory. Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and the Bingo Department. Must maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws, and other communicated expectations, including but not limited to: Employment Manual, Gaming Ordinance, State Gaming Compact, Minimum Internal Controls, Department Procedures, memos, and other communication from supervisory or regulatory personnel. The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based upon organizational needs and/or deemed necessary by the department supervisor/manager or casino general manager. QUALIFICATIONS: North Star Mohican Casino Resort is looking for a courteous and friendly individual. Two years’ experience in inventory control is preferred. Must have experience preparing oral and written reports. Must have the ability and be willing to execute changes to further enhance inventory accountability. Must be able to function effectively in stressful situations. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position as outlined below. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Constant hand movements (repetitive motions: grasping, holding, use of finger dexterity). Use hands to handle or feel and reaching with hands/arms. Constant walking and standing which may include kneeling, crouching, reaching and bending. Occasional climbing of stairs/ladders, lifting and /or moving and pushing/pulling up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus, with the aid of prescription glasses/contacts, if needed. Work environment requires excellent personal hygiene, due to working near others. The work environment is non-smoking and dust-free; and noise levels may vary depending on location and work area.
